• 12/08/08: Dr. Ulrike Dydak, Adjunct Assistant Professor with dual appointments at Purdue and Indiana University, received a magna cum laude award for her poster at RSNA. This is the highest award for an educational exhibit and only 7 awards are given each year.

• 08/17/08: Dr. Andrew J. Saykin was interviewed at Sound Medicine (WFYI 90.1 FM) on "Losing Memory, Losing Brain Cells".

• 07/07/08: Congratulations to Judy James, Navin Bansal, and their coauthors on receiving the Top Abstract Score Award for the following abstract: Controlled Radiofrequency Hyperthermia and Simultaneous Monitoring of its Effects in Sc-implanted 9L-glioma by In Vivo 1H, 23Na and 31P Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy at the 2008 World Conference on Interventional Oncology.

• 04/03/08: The Imaging Sciences Educational Workshop will be an ongoing series of free lectures on the fundamentals of biomedical imaging for all who use, or are considering using, imaging in their research. Anyone who would like to know how imaging works is welcome.

• 04/03/08: The Second Annual Indiana Neuroimaging Symposium will be Friday, April 25, at the University Place Conference Center on the IUPUI Campus in Indianapolis.
